Frequently Asked Questions:
Florida Wedding & Portrait Photography

1. How many outfit changes can I have for my session? If you're a pro, bring as many outfits as you want. In my professional opinion, two outfit changes are ideal for signature sessions, but three are possible. Just remember that each wardrobe change takes away from the actual shooting time!

2. How many locations will we go to? For our St Augustine portrait sessions, I try to choose one-stop locations, with tons of options within walking distance... In Jacksonville, FL, the Riverside/Avondale area is my favorite; we have parks, restaurants, and older architectural buildings, all within walking distance. This allows for multiple looks in minimal time. *Additional locations can incur additional pricing.

3. What do I bring with me? I use minimal props in most sessions. However, if there are items you want involved, please feel free to bring them. I also provide a list of helpful items to have on hand, such as a hairbrush, walking shoes, a bottle of water, and more, with your welcome packet.

4. How long will it take to get images? My goal is to provide your Florida wedding photos or portrait images to clients within 3-8 weeks, but it depends on my editing schedule. I edit every session in order, meaning that if I had four sessions the week before your session, you'd be fifth in line, and that may take the full eight weeks. I do my best to keep you updated on the estimated time and how it's going. I also offer reveal sessions. We schedule this together, and you know exactly when your images will be completed.

5. Do you require a deposit/retainer? A retainer is required to hold any session date. This is non-refundable and equal to half of the total package price. As a wedding photographer, my weekends fill up quickly, often months, even years in advance.  The retainer locks you in at existing wedding photography package prices.

6. How many images will I get? I do my best not to limit this number. Some sessions will naturally yield more images than others. I can safely say you'll receive between 60-150 images proofed for portraits and approximately 80-120 images per hour booked for a wedding.

7. What is the typical cost for a destination wedding photographer? Our Florida wedding photography packages are designed to be fully customized boutique investments. While prices vary based on coverage time, location, and specific needs, our starting packages for wedding day coverage begin at $4500, and intimate/micro-weddings start at $2100.

8. Do you offer specialized Cruise Wedding photography packages? Yes, absolutely! I specialize in Disney Cruise Wedding photography. These packages are unique because they include handling cruise wedding travel logistics, working within ship time constraints, scouting unique onboard locations, and managing the ceremony on the destination island (like Castaway Cay). My expertise ensures a smooth, beautiful day, whether you are getting married at sea or at a beautiful port. Reach out for a consultation to discuss the specialized details of your cruise wedding photography.

9. How do destination wedding travel fees work? I am a destination wedding photographer and love to travel! For most destination weddings, travel fees are customized based on the flight, accommodation, and travel time required. However, I maintain a travel bucket list of dream locations (For Example: Italy or specific national parks). If your wedding is taking place in one of my bucket list destinations, you may qualify for discounted pricing—or I may even waive my session fee entirely! Let's chat about your location and get a custom quote.

10. Are you an inclusive LGBTQ+ wedding photographer? Yes, unequivocally. I am a proudly inclusive LGBTQ+ wedding photographer and support marriage equality. I serve all couples and clients, regardless of how they identify or who they love. I hope that you feel seen, celebrated, and completely supported from the moment we start planning until the final image is delivered.
