Kristi & Kevin were married in a morning service at Christ The King Catholic Church in Arlington! Their morning wedding was wonderful for sure! Not only did I get to enjoy an awesome muffin I procured from Mimmi’s the night before, I was home by 4pm for a nice afternoon nap!!!
We started our morning at the hotel in Tapestry Park, Kristi handed me her Tieks when I asked for her wedding shoes… This girl is truly after my heart… Her wedding was Tiffany themed and most of the details were TEAL! Hello!!! I think everyone knows by now I LOVE teal! Her lunch time reception at Maggiano’s capped of this morning wedding perfectly!
This Tiffany ring is so incredibly beautiful! So simple and eye catching, the princess cut delicately fits Kristi’s style!
I’ve shot my fair share of Catholic weddings and loved how the priest went over to to them to speak to them directly. It was a nice personalized touch during the ceremony!
During our last consult Kristi asked me about her exit. Since our time together came to a close before her reception was over, I suggested she did a special exit when leaving the church. The wedding was at 11am which is WAY too early for a sparkler exit, and it’s been a while since I photographed a bubble exit so I made the suggestion. Kristi loved it and got these bubbles with about a week to go!!! It turned out wonderfully! Look at how happy the bride and groom are!
We made a special stop for romantic portraits after the wedding at a place that for now will remain nameless… but the joy on this bride’s face should tell you that it’s a very special happy place!!
When Kristi and her father danced for their father daughter dance you could tell it was an incredibly special moment for the two of them. Dad was all smiles, Kristi was all tears. This moment of him giving her away had been a long time coming. Kristi and Kevin have been dating for about 6yrs now. The emotions ran over and my mostly collected bride finally let all her emotions go when in her daddy’s arms.
I’ve decided that I don’t post or blog about enough reception photos… and we really have a great time at receptions!!! Case in point! ๐ Be on the look out for more reception photos to come!
