I’ve just come home from Maribel & Dorian’s amazing Disney Cruise Wedding on Castaway Cay in the Bahamas, by way of the Disney Dream!!! This is my 8th Wedding on the Disney Dream and each time it doesn’t disappoint! However, finding unique shots in a venue you’ve photographed EIGHT times becomes a personal challenge. Maribel and Dorian were all up for that challenge. We did visit some tried and true spots as well! I hope you enjoy this sneak peak of their Disney Dream Cruise Wedding, and stay tuned for their full feature once I have my land legs!
I believe I’ve said this before, but hands down Disney does it best! This lobby is stunning, it’s the first thing you see when you board the ship and its opulence is breathtaking, once aboard you know you’re about to be cruising in style! How could we not hang this dress in the lobby again. It’s quickly becoming one of my favorite shots!
Maribel’s details were simple and beautiful! Since blue was one of her wedding colors, these gorgeous earrings were the perfect accent, and also served as the something blue for tradition.
Goofy is truly one of my favorite live characters! His personality is un-matched! As we are escorted through the island to the wedding area he came running out from his photo op to wave to the passing princess. Brides are treated so incredibly special by Disney from your coordinator to the cast members!
Maribel and Dorian’s beautiful wedding location… couldn’t ask for better weather… the clouds gave us shade and made the weather mild on the island!
Who doesn’t want to ride these trikes in the water… While we couldn’t allow them to get soaking wet just yet (we still had a reception to get to) we were able to hop on a trike and get some fun photos!

Maribel’s flowers are my favorite flowers available for a Disney Cruise Line Wedding, they are a beautiful colorful mix! With a special memorial to Maribel’s father.
Who doesn’t love Toy Story! The ship is complete with a lifesize version of Andy’s room… and at Disney, in the kids play area… you can totally jump on the bed!
I love this room on the ship!!! And again, blue was the wedding color so this wall made the perfect built in accent!
This was a test shot and sometimes the best photographs are completely unintentional… Maribel is effortlessly beautiful! Dorian is one lucky fella!
I did let him join her for the intended shot though…. Doesn’t get much better than this!
Since the cruise is over the tropics, you never know what type of weather you will have… or the type of sunset you’ll see on board… for Maribel and Dorian.. the weather cooperated all day, and the sunset was stunning and perfect!
