This story has been a longggg time in the making… Somewhere around 8 years to be exact. Read on to see how life, business goals, and the future of my brand have all merged into one.
Eight years ago, a young, gorgeous woman named April was looking for a wedding photographer. Her wedding seemed like it was going to be a blast. Unfortunately things didn’t work out for her me to be her wedding photographer, but we kept in touch.
Since her wedding, I’ve photographed her as a model, as well as shot her maternity photos and most recently, her newborn session! April and her best friend, Amy, responded to a model call years ago. Amy and I stayed in touch as well, and I had the pleasure of shooting Amy’s vintage masquerade ball (!!!) wedding. To this day, her wedding images are still some of my all time favorites.
At Amy’s wedding, I met Stephen & Teresa.
Little backstory here: One of my biggest dreams, both personal and for my career, has been to photograph a bride in New York City. As in, I’ve been hoping it would happen since 08′ you guys.
Ok, now we’re back! After all those wonderful people and insane connections, guess who finally messaged me for their wedding? Stephen and Teresa! And get this- Teresa wanted a bridal shoot in NYC. I just about died of happiness!
When it came to engagement session, there wasn’t much discussion. She said, can we do Disney, I believe my answer was either “of course” or “duh… there is no other place, not for people like us!” 😛
Where do I start? How do I start? This session is perfect! These two are so in love. Very fun! I’m so excited for their wedding in September!
